Join us for Trek Camino - August 29th to September 5th 2020
Camino de Santiago
"The Camino has been on my bucket list for many years, the trip exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived at Dublin Airport we were looked after, nothing was a problem to Peter McVerry staff, they were fantastic. It was a very spiritual experience and I made friends for life "
Trek Camino Participant 2018.

You will walk the unique Camino de Fisterra which begins in Santiago de Compostela. Over the course of 6 days, you will walk to Cape Fisterra, believed to be the “Edge of the World”.

The Camino de Fisterra is the only trail which starts in Santiago, and on this route you will pass through towns such as Negreira, Santa Marina, Cée, before arriving at Fisterre on the Atlantic coast of Galicia, where you can enjoy a well-earned swim in the sea.

Departing Dublin on August 29th, you will start your trip in Santiago, receiving stamps on your Camino Passport along the route. On completion of the Camino in Fisterre you will receive your Fisterranna certificate. You will then travel back to Dublin on September 5th.

The funds you raise by taking part in Trek Camino 2020 will ensure that Peter McVerry Trust can continue to provide crucial services to those who need them most. Join our Trek Camino and make a difference to the lives of people impacted by homelessness.
