“Talk about the best Christmas present you could ever get in your life. Literally the best Christmas present. I’ve come from the streets, gone into treatment and then this is just like a dream. I viewed the apartment and it was absolutely mind-blowing. Everything is brand spanking new, it’s absolutely immaculate. I keep pinching myself just to make sure it’s actually happening.”

Jason was homeless for many years and unfortunately is also living with a terminal cancer diagnosis. On Monday, he moved into his own apartment in a brand new Peter McVerry Trust development in Dublin – giving him the “best Christmas present you could ever get in your life”.
