Peter McVerry Trust is deeply saddened by the passing of Brother Kevin Crowley, a tireless advocate for people experiencing homelessness and poverty in Dublin. As founder of the Capuchin Day Centre in 1969, Brother Kevin dedicated over five decades of his life to serving the most vulnerable in our society with compassion, dignity and unwavering commitment.
His work provided hot meals, clothing and medical care to thousands who passed through the doors of the Capuchin Day Centre. His legacy is one of kindness and fearless advocacy, and his impact will be felt for generations.
Peter McVerry Trust was privileged to work alongside Brother Kevin and the Capuchin Day Centre over the years.
