JCDecaux have announced that they will be working with five charity partners in 2023 and 2024. Further to a competitive process the five charity partners that have been selected are Peter McVerry Trust, Alone, Barnardos, Fairtrade and Fighting Blindness.
Peter McVerry Trust is the first homeless charity to be selected for the charity partnership program, which has been running since 2016. Through this program each charity is given access to the JCDecaux portfolio of outdoor advertising formats so that they can raise much needed awareness of the issues facing them on a daily basis.
Tony O’Flanagan, Marketing Director of JCDecaux said, “this year we had the highest number of applications for our charity partnership program to date and the standard of entries was extremely high. Incredible work is being done by the charity sector in so many different areas. We are really looking forward to working closely with our charity partners over the next two years and we are confident that our formats will play a vital role in raising awareness of the crucial work that all of our charity partners are doing.”
Pat Doyle, CEO of Peter McVerry Trust, said, “it’s absolutely fantastic to be selected as a JCDecaux charity partner. This is Peter McVerry Trust’s first outdoor campaign and is a great opportunity to raise awareness about our work supporting people impacted by homelessness across the country. We’re very grateful to JCDecaux and look forward to working closely with them over the next two years.”
