Historically, Peter McVerry Trust was concentrated in Dublin but in 2014 the charity opened its first service in Kildare. This was followed by housing delivery in Co. Laois and the delivery of housing services in Co. Limerick.
In December 2016, Peter McVerry Trust opened a Mid West Regional Office in Limerick City, our first regional office. This was followed in September 2018 with a North East Regional Office in Drogheda that serves counties Louth, Cavan and Monaghan and the opening of a Southern Regional Office in Cork City in July 2021, serving counties Cork and Kerry. The charity also operates a Mid East regional office in Johnstown, Naas, Co Kildare which serves counties Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. In December 2022, Peter McVerry Trust opened a new Western Regional Office in Tuam. The office was officially opened by Galway East TD and Minister of State for Disability, Anne Rabbitte.
In 2022, Peter McVerry Trust worked with over 12,000 people and was active in 28 local authorities across Ireland as the charity continued to use its expertise and resources to respond to local needs.
It should be noted that in the majority of counties, Peter McVerry Trust is delivering only social housing projects and supports. The majority of our other services are located in Dublin and Kildare.
