“If it wasn’t for Housing First and Peter McVerry Trust I wouldn’t be where I am today. I was at a very low place when I lost my leg and didn’t want to live. Now I feel happy and excited for the future. I’m very grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given and the support from my keyworker. It’s made everything much easier. I don’t think I could have done it alone.”

John was homeless for 10 years before taking up a Housing First tenancy with Peter McVerry Trust in Dublin. Now, he has a home for life with key wraparound health and social supports.
