Now in its eight year, the Loop Head Cycle 2020 will take place on September 26th 2020, and will see over 30 cyclists in Covid restriction-permitted pods ride a round trip from Spanish Point to Loop Head in Co. Clare and back (140km).
Since it began, the cycle event has raised over €220,000 to support the work of Peter McVerry Trust and those impacted by homelessness in communities around Ireland.
Your support is greatly appreciated and the funds you help raise through this great event, will ensure that we can continue to provide vital supports and services to those impacted by homelessness around Ireland.
To help address the growing issue of homelessness around Ireland, Peter McVerry Trust opened a regional office in Limerick in 2016, and currently provides support to over 65 people in the Mid-West. In Autumn of 2019, Peter McVerry Trust delivered its first homes in Clare, supporting over 13 people, include 5 families.
Please note all COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines will be adhered to for this event.
