Build a fort and help us rebuild lives
Forts & Castles
Sign up today

This September we want you to get creative and build a brilliant fort or castle to support Peter McVerry Trust. Enter by Friday 29th October to win some fantastic prizes!

Create your dream fort or castle any way you like – build it with blankets or cardboard, paint it or draw it! Big or small, real or not – every masterpiece is welcome.

The money you raise will support our work with families who are experiencing homelessness.

Our purpose-built family homeless services are designed to temporarily house families while they seek a long-term solution to their housing need. The services allow families to maintain independent living, build their life-skills and engage effectively with Peter McVerry Trust to find a new home.

How to get involved

Sign up today and receive a flag to fly from your fort and a virtual Forts & Castles preparation pack. We ask every builder to set up their own fundraising page and raise money to support our work. Once your iDonate page is ready, share it with friends and family to drive donations.

Everyone can take part – build on your own, with family, friends or your school. Every fort and castle counts, whether you build it or draw it.

When you’re finished, take a photo and share it with us! You can email it to fundraising@pmvtrust.ie or share it on social media using the hashtag #fortsandcastles and tagging Peter McVerry Trust:

Don’t forget to enter by Friday 29th October.
