Peter McVerry Trust has a comprehensive Schools Programme for both secondary and primary level students. We also work closely with third level students. We can provide information about our work around the country, as well as details about how your school can support our work.
Schools Talks
We are developing a new recorded schools talk, which can be used for your class group, and will be sent along with some additional resources and work sheets.
Unfortunately, we cannot visit schools in person or provide virtual talks.
The information in the school talk can support students with projects or subject requirements they have but can also inform the student body of the reality of homelessness. With more and more children of school going age experiencing homelessness, this presentation can often help other students be more empathetic to their fellow students.

Supporting Our Work
Peter McVerry Trust works closely with schools and communities across Ireland. In turn, the generous support received from schools helps us continue our work with people who need it most.
There are lots of ways that you can help raise funds for us, and we are here to provide any support you might need. You can hold a non-uniform day, a bake sale, a charity cycle or take part in our Big Sleep In and host a sleep-in at your school or college.
To learn more about the Big Sleep In or discuss the ways you can help us support people in homelessness, get in touch with us today on fundraising@pmvtrust.ie
