Join Peter McVerry Trust on this one-day challenge of Lugnaquilla. The highest mountain outside Kerry, Lugnaquilla, or Lug, stands at 925m and overlooks the Glen of Imaal and Glenmalure.
Starting at the Baravore Carpark, the 14km hike will take approximately 6 hours and will require a good level of fitness. This Glenmalure Loop hike is described as the most scenic circuit to the peak and on a clear day will provide you with views for miles. On completion of the hike, you will enjoy refreshments before returning home.
