In 2020, Peter McVerry Trust helped over 2,400 women, and we continue to support over 200 girls and women every day. These women demonstrate resilience, strength, ambition and care on a daily basis, all in the face of adversity. They are an inspiration to us all.

On March 8th this year, for International Women’s Day, we challenge the women of Ireland to come together to understand and support girls and women experiencing homelessness into homes of their own. A challenged world is an alert world, and from the challenge comes change.

Girl's Activity Pack

Donate the value of a girl’s activity pack that can be given to a child being supported by our family services and Housing With Supports staff.

Monthly Hygiene Pack

Support a woman experiencing homelessness by donating the value of one monthly hygiene pack. This will ensure a woman in our services will have access to the expensive but necessary products on a monthly basis.

Weekly Shop

Donate the value of a weekly shop and help us ensure that our female tenants have access to all the food and household supplies they need, particularly during the ongoing pandemic.

Monthly Hygiene Packs

Support 10 women experiencing homelessness by donating the value of a monthly hygiene pack. This will ensure ladies in our care will have access to the expensive but necessary products on a monthly basis.

Home Starter Pack

Ensure women moving into their new homes have everything they need to succeed. This includes equipment such as a microwave, kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, crockery.

6 Months Support

Provide 24/7 specialist support to women moving into their homes. This support is given to those that need it ensuring they thrive in their new environment and will help them move to independent living.
