The first long term empty home to be brought back under the Repair and Lease scheme in Dublin City was delivered by Peter McVerry Trust in May 2018.
The property, which had been vacant for a number of years, underwent a huge transformation for a budget of €39,000 with the work completed in little over 8 weeks.
It was officially unveiled by the Minister for Housing, Eoghan Murphy TD. The renovated property provided a new home for a family exiting homelessness after 2 years in hotels.
