We’re delighted to announce that we will showcase our first Show Garden at Bloom 2022. Ireland’s largest gardening festival will take place in the Phoenix Park from Wednesday 1st – Monday 6th June. Peter McVerry Trust is the first homeless charity to take part in the event.

The Peter McVerry Trust garden, Pathways to Home, is designed to represent the journey from homelessness and sleeping rough to living in a safe and secure home. Reflective of the physical and emotional journey undertaken by our clients, the garden provides a respite from the pressures of homelessness.

The garden, with its innovative use of materials and planting, prompts reflection on the ongoing innovative work of Peter McVerry Trust in providing homes, embedded in a green environment, and wraparound services as part of the Government’s Housing First model.
