This Information and Advice page provides resources for those seeking housing and support services. It includes guidance on emergency accommodation, private rented housing, and international protection accommodation. Additionally, there is information for beneficiaries of temporary protection, homeowners wishing to pledge property, and mental health support services. For regional-specific help, please refer to the tabs for Dublin, Kildare, Limerick, and Louth.

Emergency accommodation

Peter McVerry Trust is unable to accept direct referrals or requests from individuals in need of emergency accommodation.

Local authorities allocate all emergency accommodation placements.

Private rented accommodation

We recommend using www.daft.ie or www.rent.ie if you are looking for private rented accommodation.

International Protection Accommodation Services

If you are living in Clare, Kerry, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Laois, Offaly, Longford, Westmeath, Waterford or Wexford in IPAS accommodation, please email your full name, address and request to asresettlement@pmvtrust.ie. If you are residing in any other county that is not mentioned above, please contact DePaul on depaul@depaulcharity.net.

Beneficiary of Temporary Protection

If you are a beneficiary of temporary protection seeking support to source Pledge Accommodation under the ARP Program, please contact the Irish Red Cross on migrationcrisis@redcross.ie.

Pledge property

If you are a homeowner wishing to register your property to accommodate Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection under the ARP Program, please register your property with the Irish Red Cross on registerofpledges@redcross.ie.

Mental health supports

If you are feeling unsafe, you can present to A&E or call the emergency services on 112. You can also call the HSE Mental Health Information and Advice Line on 1800 111 888 or the Samaritans Support Line on 116 123.

The Out of Hours Information and Advice Service for Co. Kildare is operated by Peter McVerry Trust on behalf of Kildare County Council.

The service offers information and advice to anyone at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness in Co. Kildare. The freephone number operates outside of Kildare County Council’s office hours and at weekends.
