After 12 months living in a room in a relative’s house with their young son, Anna and Michael got the keys to their new home in Mayo just in time for Christmas. Peter McVerry Trust supported this young family to start the next chapter of their lives.

“It was very hard for us to take the step and ask for help. We were desperate. Having a nonverbal autistic child is a challenge alone, let alone the stress of becoming homeless.
