The Peter McVerry Trust Pledge Team have been working with Ukrainian nationals coming to Ireland. We have been helping them move from temporary and emergency accommodation into pledged accommodation from the Irish public.

“I arrived in Ireland in April. I didn’t know what to do. After about two months in the hotel, I met one of the managers of Peter McVerry Trust.”

The first point of contact are at the centres and hotels that we work in. We work directly with the families. From there we need to contact the property owner, and explaine that we have somebody we feel might work for their offer of pledged accommodation. After that, we’ll help facilitate the move.
